CL_DUMMY_COPY_MOVES HELP!
Guys! I tried to do the new map of Vasten100 but after a bit, my dummy just don't copy my moves togheter...
Even when he is align in my position... after a bit... he goes away and let me fail! How can i fix that? I love new vasten idea but i can't use it propretly

Yup, definitely for some it doesn't works very well

Its not really new idea..(if u knew iddrace). But same here...plus at start it was like sometimes...but at last part im not able to finish cuz its happening almost all the time. x)

Guys this is another thing too! Check the chat of this screen...
A lot of people dosen't know how to do this thing without client... i think we can do a SERVER DUMMY! It will be such better and it will not have lag ( like iddrace )- deen

So, I don't see a way to fix this. I don't want server side dummies (I don't want dummies at all and they should just be for testing maps, but that's another story). We should just not release any further maps (ab)using this feature. With every small lag you can get desynced with your dummy.

These are the points where you get unsync with your dummy!
THE PROBLEM IS THE LAG!
1. When you go near freeze, the dummy can go just a mm upper/downer then you and so... he freeze and you not!
2. When for sync the dummy you go on a wall and leave fast this wall... in this way the dummy will have some delay!
3. As i see in another topic, ( http://forum.ddnet.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1360 ) it happens too when togheter
you go in freeze and... when you get unfreeze, you're unsync.
HOW TO FIX ALL OF THIS!
1. Don't go near freeze... it can easly be considerated a feature... xD
2. Just wait a bit when you sync your dummy!
3. Remove this part? Or just... made an easier but longer way?
EXTRA REASON All of these problems are for the lag! You can see... if you do ctrl+shift+d a ghost! This ghost is coordinated with the dummy move when you do cl_dummy_copy_moves 1! This ghost = How the others see you = your ping. So, the dummy... = the ping! Higher is your ping, higher is the ping of the dummy, but not your. If you can see, in game, you haven't always the same ping of the dummy, this is also a reason for unsync!
EXTRA FIX I telt my idea one post ago, i think we should just make a SERVER DUMMY... maybe let it be activable only if the mapper wants too ( like rescue )... Another suggestion will be delete the map... but i like Vasten100 ideas and if we voted yes for Just_triple_fly and for UpnDown we can't say no to this idea.

Is there any way to fix the ping delay between player and dummy. Does somebody know why this happens exactly? I mean its one client and one connection. There should not be any delay.
