No Tester or any trusted person wrote here that it is releasable. So we are still waiting for that post.

I don't like this map, but maybe it's not that bad.
I only made one run with you to show you entities bugs (what you should do alone)

According to 645654 the map is good enough, i also had a look in an earlier version and it was okay.

So it only needs a check for bugs and so.

More than one month ago I posted this map on the forum, and yet, noone told its releasable.
Any time when i asked testers to help or post opinion on the forum, i can hear: "Im not in the mood", "Not today", "Im not testing brutal maps" and so on.
Idk, why for testers is so hard to pick out one hour of gaming?

Btw, explain me, somebody, what should i do to speed up test?

Post novice maps instead of brutal - it should help a lot. Thats my suggestion.

It seems like there are three solutions.
  • Try to become a popular and trusted mapper.
  • Release your map through a tournament
  • Give your map to iMTG, it seems like they make they work fast if they just accepted your map for testing
  • there was a fourth option: try to release your map by asking deen
But do NOT:
  • push your thread with "map is releasable" shouts
  • ask any tester in forum to test your map now (try it ingame)
  • never try to release an old and already released map or plan at least 3 month till release (If you want to play your old map on Christmas, send it NOW)
this post was planned as sarcastic but I guess now its more truth than a joke

Some other posibilities to accelerate the process of testing:
- make rather simple maps which are easy to test (it is annoying to test when there are checkpoints, because it has to be checked if there is something cheateable, it is annoying when there are several ways and a tester has to understand and check for cheats)
- don`t make ultra long maps
- help testers by testing other maps, so they have more time for yours (there are often other mappers who wait even more time for release)
- don`t be annoying or mean (if testers dont like you they probably dont want to test your map)
- learn english, i dont like mapper who dont understand me (this happens rather with russian mappers :P)
- don`t spam the topic, i dont like to filter the important information in a thread with 10 pages
- make your map interesting
- have testers as friends (it works :P)

thats just my point of view, some possibilities to influence my decisions weather i test a map or not
i know it is offtopic but i want to say this
