Re: Teeworlds on Steam
True, but it would mean alot of negitave things and some positive things too. I don't have steam, but I have heard it is more of a sci-fi, scape, sciency game engine. I don't really think teeworlds belongs there.

Re: Teeworlds on Steam
I think that DDNET ON STEAM = MORE CLIENT FEATURE AND MUCH NORE PLAYERS... for more feature i say like invite or accept/request an invite from a player to join in his server

But not twice or more than current in a few days, then exactly that elitis view will be used to protect the community, also there aren't enough servers.deen wrote:I don't like this elitist view. I think we could do well with more players on DDNet.BamBam wrote:I don't really like the Idea. I like teeworlds to be a little community where we all know each other. But with a whole bunch of nameless tee noobies it'l just get crazy! They will take over, hack, and mess with our program!

Steam sci-fi? wtf...BamBam wrote:True, but it would mean alot of negitave things and some positive things too. I don't have steam, but I have heard it is more of a sci-fi, scape, sciency game engine. I don't really think teeworlds belongs there.
Steam is an Internet-based digital distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation offering digital rights management (DRM), multiplayer, and social networking. Steam provides the user with installation and automatic updating of games on multiple computers, and community features such as friends lists and groups, cloud saving, and in-game voice and chat functionality. The software provides a freely available application programming interface (API) called Steamworks, which developers can use to integrate many of Steam's functions, including networking and matchmaking, in-game achievements, micro-transactions, and support for user-created content through Steam Workshop, into their products.
I don't see something that says sci-fi

Re: Teeworlds on Steam
Firts u didn't understand what steam means. Steam doesn't makes games, it's like some kind of shop, but steam doesn't create games so doesn't makes sense what you say, go to this page http://store.steampowered.com/ and see.BamBam wrote:I mean those are like the kind of games steam makes. What makes game is Valve (creator of half life and portal series <3) and valve also created steam but it has no relation...

Re: Teeworlds on Steam
You can't say it doesn't fit if you don't understand what steam even is. It's a game distribution platform that sells games of pretty much any genre, and allows new developers to kickstart their games, with support. It also has useful social features which could connect people across teeworlds and help the community grow.BamBam wrote:I mean those are like the kind of games steam makes. Steam has an indie game section, in which teeworlds would fit just fine.

Do we know when Teeworlds will be added?
I fear that day.
