1 Year clean today!

I did it!
Bin clean 1 whole year
Thanks for everyone to keep me not thinking about smoking at all.
as some of you might know i wasted my whole life from 16-20 smoking weed every day.
Here is a poem i wrote when i were 6 months clean
- its in a book now

Smoking were my only interest, I was obsessed, I wasn’t stressed, neither was I
blessed, but I was pressed. 16 when I left my mommas nest.

I wasn´t ready to stand on my feet, but all the greed, got me kicked out on the
street, i concede, and bow down for the weed.

The things I said hurt the people i met,
I try to look ahead even though my friend is dead, the psychosis he got, by
smoking the pot lead to suicide on the block.

I couldn´t get enough even though he begged me to stop, now that he is free,
his legacy lives in me, for all eternity flying over the everlasting sea.

How do you ignore, the people you care for, mentally world war, it aint even fun
no more, used to be blast on the shore, now I feel like a crack whore.

The devil on my shoulder says smoke again you can´t trust an addict that says
he is innocent, ain´t never had more but my smoker friend, only the weed I will
defend

I´m smart, but its hard, 1 is too much but 1000 is never enough, like being
handcuffed, quitting is tough, but there is more to life than to puff.

You'll lose your family, what you allways wanted to be, is gone with the smoke
sphere, whats important you can´t see when all you want is love, peace and
harmony.

Spend your life savings on that one thing that makes you forget that your life
stink. Your blind, your problems only dissapears in your mind, wake up clean
seeing it all combined.

Emotions controlled by a toggle, stuck in the smoke bubble. The every day
struggle, shit I had to hustle, got me in trouble.

An addict was born, it made me calm, but I was a bum, I starved till dawn and
even stole from my mom.

I seached the high I got in the start, this drug turned me and my friend apart, it
removed my heart, and turned it into black art.

I now remember what happend yestersay, i didn´t sit on my bong sucking that
hay. I laugh everyday, still got my money from payday. Not calling my mom
yelling mayday.

Wish me luck for another year, and i hope you other stoners will see the light some day

Luckily for me I don't need to smoke every day, but if friends bring some weed I'm happy to smoke it.
