You know you have that default blue image as a background, if you change that to any other picture and try to save, black magic happens and puts satans curse on your file

I need clear instructions I can follow to reproduce this, without Satan occuring.

okay I was able to narrow it down, it's caused by few parts of G'MIC plugin in Gimp.. nothing you should worry about I guess
