Here is our map 2Evil4u.
Map is made by Affe mit Waffe, Nashika and me.
Its a 2 Tee Team map.
The map was maped for xxlddrace, about 5 months ago.
Map is 100% playable.
I think the map don't look really good but it's ok .
Please give me some feedback.

I dislike design, map is too tight and a little bit unbalanced. I can't see the difference between unhookable and freeze, maybe change that

It is too tight (usually a bit of tightness is okay but even for 2 people it is hard to move around) and unbalanced, some parts are ok but most are simple and bad, like the little drags.
I don't think it can be released.

I had some time and made huge gameplay and graphical changes.
Removed or changed parts that were too tight.
Removed many simple parts.
Changed the complete design.

This looks really bad. The structure is horrible, and to fix that you would basically have to remake the whole map from scratch. Didn't play the parts, but they look like something mapped in like 2012.

I don't think that the map looks really bad... there are other worse looking maps out there.
Why is the structure bad?
You think the parts are too close together?
Basically the most parts of the map are mad in 2015.

That is not a good reason, DDNet has maps from many different years and standards keep rising, you can't expect an old map to be as good as a map from today, but that doesn't mean you can map just as bad as oldschool maps.Vaclav wrote:there are other worse looking maps out there.

I think that the map is fare away from being like an oldschool design.
The most oldschool maps are made with one generic unhookable some freeze tiles and nothing else.
