Could be problem with new entitie. Some maps could already contain entitie 66/67.
Would be nice to make program wich check created maps on containing this entitie(and all other empty entities) and replace it to real empty entitie.

Checking old maps for this tile would probably be very hard. At the moment I don't know any library/module to edit maps by a script. The python library for teeworld maps doesn't work correctly when used with DDrace maps. We also never did this before when tiles were added as far as I know. Though on the base of the code changes in the PR it would be possible to forbid placing unused tiles in the editor so stuff like this can't happen in the future. In this case we should also consider to provide mapping modes for different gametypes. The maps that break by the new hookthrough will probably have to be found via the map bugs forum.

This bug could open many ways to cheat, and create many problems with new and old ranks. Why it should be through ass? Oh sry I mean "via the map bugs forum"? (also keep in mind here is 1400 maps already, and fixing each founded bug, which made troubles for players, is not the best way to solve same problems). So imo old maps should be fixed before release client with new entities
Thats why if any coder able to make some "fixer null entities for DDNet maps" would be really nice

Maybe the python teeworlds map library helps finding those tiles, though it has to be fixed manually.
I'll look into this later.

You can do something like this, we use it for the map release process: https://github.com/ddnet/tml/blob/master/properties.py
At least game and front layer should work with my fork of TML.
