Tutorial!
Hello!
This is haisito and I have a little idea.. Many new players starting teeworlds think it is just a "little 2d shooter" and lose interest within the first few days. Maybe we can have a tutorial when they first enter the game showing them the modes and some mechanics. Hopefully we can get more new players interested and invested in this game. Not sure if this is a good idea/even possible but it would be great to inspire a new generation of players.

Re: Tutorial!
If they discover vanilla teeworlds (teeworlds.com) at first, they experience the 2d-shooter game and it's kinda hard to for total new players to view other modifications in the server browser.
So yeah, it can be hard and there is nothing much we can do about that. But I also dont think that this is a problem or that we should change that. The vanilla concept is a fun game as well and nearly all of us firstly played this game and then discovered modifications.
The other possibilty is when new players discover ddnet (ddnet.org) right away. Our client is focused at the ddnet modification and therefore pre-configurated with the ddnet tab and even the novice servers as first result in the browser searchbar. So, these players experience ddrace.
To sum it up, there is no right or wrong way to discover the game. We should not do anything, but that's just my opinion .__.
About the whole tutorial problematic, there are already like 5235 threads and discussion in the forum.

Re: Tutorial!
The thing is, with new players discovering teeworlds is that when they come on they meet people who use ddnet and are willing to help. No matter how new they are they may be suggested ddnet and still not know how to play. I think a tutorial tab would be a great addition to ddnet to help out all of the new players.
