I just had a look at the map yesterday and i like the "new modern" version of purple panic and the re-created parts. ;P
I'm totally okay with the release, maybe with a small credit somewhere ?


btw: I don't like the background either. Too much, too cheesy, distracts from playing.

1mb for just a bg image is way too much. There are people who have to download for 5 mins just for the background...
Design is bad anyway. Hardly playable, no contrasts.

This is still up to date.
The background pic takes 0.99MB for basically nothing. It's a waste of time and ressources.
People will use entities instantly anyway, since the design is too dark.

Made everything HD expect the black moon and fixed some other stuff e.g. freeze behind hooktrough. Should be rdy Brutal 1 (I tend to lower brutal now since the map isn't rly moderate especially near the end)

What is so unplayable of this map yeah its big so what the bg is still nice to play with and if you dont like turn of hd whats the problem a big file size? it will take prob like a minute to download and then never again(or atleast you hope so) its no that big of a struggle
even with my potato celleron laptop i get at least a hundred frames on this map

Differences between the tiles aren't that good visible and the bg feels messy. So people will use entities to play the map.
There are people who are playing with a mobile connection. 1 MB is a lot for them. Some even need a minute to download just 100KB.

Additionally, you can easily create a bg with the possibilitys Teeworlds already provides which looks much better.
