friendlist w/o clan tag?

In teeworlds clan tags are something that you change very often, a few players change them even daily. So, I have to constantly re-add players to my friendlist cause they changed their clan again..
Is there a possibilty to just add the name of a player and he appears in my friendlist regardless of the clan tag he currently has? So, basically a friendlist that ignores clans and just searches for the names. I don't know if that's easy to do or if the search algorithm is hard to change, but it would be awesome to have that option :3
And ye, you can change names easily as well, but there are only a few people that does that on a regular base.

I think friend list should just not care about clan tag at all. Would people be ok with that change?
