There are 3 kinds of recorders, now all 3 are displayed, so maybe an explanation helps:
  • Manual demo recorder (ESC -> Record)
  • Auto demo recorder (Settings -> General -> Automatically record demos)
  • Race demo recorder (Settings -> DDNet -> Save the best demo of each race)
You have enabled the last one.
