Doesn't mappers have anything to say/add about their own map?

Too many times I've been away & my maps get released without permission from me. I don't know about anyone else but I would rather get informed & get to plan with map-releaser when to release my maps.

Every mapper can wish a release-date, if they don't do, the map will be released as soon as possible when it is rdy.

With sending it to DDNet you kinda give the permission, cause you send it us to release it. If you only want us to test it, you are wrong in the Map-Testing section and should post it in Mapping.

As is said: Write the date you wish and if it is possible to release the map on this date, deen will do so.

If I'm not available that day/week don't release map. I always want to decide map release date \w map-releaser. It will be released eventually, no rushing.

PS. Genericore 5's release-date is not ok, put it next week since I'm currently on a plane to London. Yes, right now.

It would be chaotic and much work, if we need to talk to every mapper about the release date, since we are sometimes releasing more than 1 map per day (asking mapper before isn`t possible sometimes). Map will be released soon, if an official tester writes something like "ready for release". When i test with the mapper i also tell the mapper, that i will do this,
There are the planned releases, where mappers can see the release date, so at least sometimes the mapper can see the release date before and say if it is okay.

In general for everybody: If you want your map released on a special day or not released, when you are on a vacation, just tell us and we will look what we can do

DDNet is not an evil guy who takes your map and does with it whatever he wants ^^
