HELP: Running Server on MAC

Post by Ice! »

Hey there, i just started to play TW again (last time almost 2 years ago) and i found 2 almost finished map i made back then. I put a lot of effort in them so I am now planning to get them online.
The problem is that I have a MAC now and running a Server for testing doesn't work at all.
I cannot scroll down in the server console so finding the problem isn't easy either. The program ask me to choose a file when i run it and I don't know what to open or to do at all to make the server work like it does on windows.
So I chose the autoexec.cfg file an clicked open, the console was running but i cannot find the server ingame.
I also tried many different files but none of them worked!

Does someone know what to do or what might be the problem?
I don't this I'm the first one trying to run a server on a MAC.

Thanks for your help :)

Can you give us the console output?

Does the server appear in the "LAN" tab?

This is all i can see from the Console. As I said i cannot scroll down or do anything else with it than mark the text...
The server does not appear in the LAN-Browser although I've defined port 8303 in the autoexec.cfg.

Problem solved!
It was caused by the firewall... I never saw the prompt that asked for permission to enable the serve, because of the fulscreen mode :DDDD. Today i runned TW in a window and noticed it. Now it works just like on windows!
