Hmm.. I have an awful sister that enjoys jamming my internet with her 1440p videos on her potato phone and causing sudden lag, I would like to have an alert when my ping rises over set point. maybe just a little icon, but something that I don't fuck everything up on the last moment :P
some body once told me

Don't like the idea. Try to setup Traffic Shaping / QoS / prioritisation of UDP packets from your computer on your router.
