Re: [Novice]Pisull
Some very cool parts, but most are boring standard parts.
Map shouldn't be released like it is.
If mapper wants to i can show him what is good and what not.

Re: [Novice]Pisull
We have 77 maps on Novice. I don't think that we need more to learn basics.Lady Saavik wrote:easy novice map doesn't need to be super creative

Re: [Novice]Pisull
what a bullshit reason, really!
this map is a standard i agree with you, but we should take care of every tee who is joinig new to the ddrace servers.
They should first learn the old stuff and something the new stuff. We cant go from old to 100% new, this will confusing the tees totally.

Go playing on Novice. There are maps, wich are no standard maps and still good for new tees.Evoli wrote:what a bullshit reason, really!

Re: [Novice]Pisull
People don't need to play this map, to play some old parts. And the new parts aren't as much exciting as they need to play the old parts again to see new parts.
Sry, but i don't see any reason why we should release the 8th Evoli-Map wich looks like the other 7 before, cause there are a few "new" parts. (And "new" doesn't mean really "new").
I think we just need more Novice maps, if they are really different or creative or if they use another feature or technique.

Do we need more less creative maps for people who are trying to go as fast as they can to Moderate?Lady Saavik wrote:And all are more or less creative. [...]hi_leute_gll wrote: We have 77 maps on Novice. I don't think that we need more to learn basics.

Re: [Novice]Pisull
dangit, stupid arguments from leute here all too typical of ddnet map screening logic imo, yea ok so all brutal and moderate maps share parts too no map is all new things, and even with 77 novice maps i see new players struggle to find easy enough maps for them to play , because of ddnet difficulty all being skewed to pro
