"I dont hate Konsti" i have Screenshots showing the oppositejao wrote: Mon Jan 29, 2018 10:37 pm hi_leute_gll didn't have any influence on my decision. These personal insults are ridiculous and unneeded. I don't hate Konsti and my decisions about releasing maps don't depend on my relation to the mapper.
I didn't feel like Konsti wants to make bigger changes to the gameplay - he wants to have it generic. If he decides to rework the map, we can think about releasing it.Silex wrote:It's so easy to make parts better. Konsti is creative and can do it.
Some of the most popular moderate maps (Cup of tee, Baby Aim, 4 NoooBs, a_simple_run, Coffee; there are more examples i guess) don't have many creative parts neither feel new neither are interesting.jao wrote: Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:09 pm If you want to change it, replace all baisc parts or at least rework them so that they are more interesting/creative/feel new.
Design doesn't have to be epic, but the hookthrough marking shouldn't be like the old hookthrough entity.
The maps you listed aren't compareable to this one, there are other reasons why they are popular and they are all made with more effort.Welf wrote: Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:09 am Some of the most popular moderate maps (Cup of tee, Baby Aim, 4 NoooBs, a_simple_run, Coffee; there are more examples i guess) don't have many creative parts neither feel new neither are interesting.
Maybe I could give more detailed feedback, but as Silex said: Konsti knows how to make proper maps, he doesn't need this.Welf wrote: Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:09 am You are not a helpful tester, if you act like this (it is not the first time you do this).
If you look at other tests of me, you will see that I invest a lot time to improve maps that have the needed potential.Welf wrote: Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:09 am I assume you don't have enough time for testing? I would prefer if you would do 1 serious test instead of 3 tests where you decline maps without explaining why.
Sounds to me like description of Delo's map, yet there you say to mapper that he needs to adjust few things and here you instantly decline the map. So we have 2 'uncreative' maps, but somehow one of them is ok. I wonder where's the difference.
Konsti:jao wrote: Sat Jan 27, 2018 2:15 pm Make the filter way shorter or allow people to skip it, make the first part team 0 friendly and make the solo parts unfaily/less faily then we can think about releasing the map.
-jao wrote: Mon Jan 29, 2018 7:12 pm Low effort map. All parts are known, only one part feels new. That it's possible to speedrun it is sadly not enough.
Declined, let's encourage mappers to put some more effort into their maps.

I am saying that your "argument" is not a good "argument" to decline a map, since other maps have the same "issues" and are still enjoyable. Please answer to my arguments and not to something different xDjao wrote: Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:25 amThe maps you listed aren't compareable to this one, there are other reasons why they are popular and they are all made with more effort.Welf wrote: Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:09 am Some of the most popular moderate maps (Cup of tee, Baby Aim, 4 NoooBs, a_simple_run, Coffee; there are more examples i guess) don't have many creative parts neither feel new neither are interesting.
It is not the first time i see this behaviour.
